BIrthdays
Your child is welcome to bring a snack for their birthday, but it is not required. Please make sure that there is enough for the whole class and the snacks are individually wrapped and store bought. Please be mindful of our school policy and the health and wellness policy. Examples of good treats: pretzels, Teddy Grahams, granola bars, fruit snacks, mini Rice Crispy treats, 100 calorie snack packs, animal crackers, or Chex Mix. Another option would be to bring a small favor (such as a pencil or highlighter) for each student.
Please be mindful for all students when your child is bringing invitations to school. They will not be allowed to pass them out to students during class.

Class Parties
There will be several times throughout the year that our class will participate in celebrations. Parents are welcome to help out at the parties. You will need to have a background check. Also, please sign in at the front office before coming down to the classroom. I will have a room parent that will make phone calls to those that are willing to help with games, bringing in food, and bringing in supplies for the parties. Our class parties will consist of Grandparent's Day, Fall Party (Halloween), Winter Party (Christmas), Valentine's Day, and the end of the year picnic. The dates of the celebrations will be put on the calendar once they are finalized.
